SURVIVOR-LED ADVOCACY & WRITING
Welcome to where healing meets fierce grace.
I’m documenting my path to becoming a certified victim advocate while navigating my own continued healing as a domestic violence survivor. This isn’t a neat success story — it’s the real, messy truth about how our deepest wounds can become our greatest source of strength and service.
If you’re a survivor, someone considering advocacy work, or anyone who believes our pain can become our purpose, you’ve found your place. Here, we talk honestly about healing, share practical resources, and remind each other that we’re never walking this path alone.
Mercy and strength, side by side.
Everything here comes from lived experience. That’s where the urgency comes from, and the gentleness too.
The Mission
This blog documents that work: the certification process, the training hours, the setbacks and the small real progress, alongside the ongoing task of making peace with my own history. It’s not a straight line and I’m not pretending it is. What I can offer is honesty — about how long this actually takes, about what the training reveals, about what it costs and what it gives back.
The Promise
Readers will discover that healing isn’t linear, survivorship is strength, and they are never alone. Through practical tips from certification training, reflections on growth and setbacks, and resources for survivors and advocates, I hope this blog creates a space where fierce grace — the courage to face our past and the determination to help others — can flourish.

Every person deserves someone in their corner who sees them, believes them, and fights for them.
